Registered Dietitian
Location: Savannah, GA
Setting: Medical Center
604-bed acute care facility, average census 550
Start date: August 14th
End date: November 3rd
30-40 hours per week - Monday - Friday - No evenings or weekends
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Current GA state license (or willingness to obtain required state license)
MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate nutritional care of patients by completing nutrition assessments which are appropriate and timely per established policies and procedures
Identify and monitor patients at nutritional risk by providing a variety of medical nutrition therapy interventions
Collaborate with physician and nursing to deliver quality nutrition care
REQUIRED SKILLS
At least one year of acute care experience
Flexible, organized, professional and efficient in stressful situations
Knowledge of parenteral and enteral nutrition methods
Experience with electronic charting and the Nutrition Care Process
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to perform work independently with minimal training
