Examples of Duties Performed:
Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Clinical Nutritional Services programs and activities.
Provide support to a limited number of centers and also provide support to additional centers as needed.
Coordinate Clinical Nutritional Services with other related departments (i.e., Nursing, Housekeeping, Social Services, etc.).
Assist with developing written food service procedural guidelines.
Assist the dining services staff in the development and use of departmental Procedural guidelines, equipment, supplies, etc.
Perform patient assessments and clinical support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
Should be a Registered Dietitian and have a current dietitian license in the state of Georgia.
Have strong food safety education and extensive knowledge food safety and of commercial kitchen operations.
Must be able to communicate well with other associates, patients, family members, and visitors providing warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude.
Must be able to travel extensively in assigned Region with same or next day notice. Occasional statewide travel required.
